The April Monday Night for the Master was held on April 28th in the Activity Building. We had 38 attend this month's work night. After enjoying a meal together, we went to working on various things around the church building. Some of the things done were: signing cards, washing communion vessels, restocking visitor's cards, replacing light bulbs, changing batteries in clocks, plus other things.
We had Mazzio's Pizza, a homemade salad by Shelly, and several desserts. We want to thank Debbie Warren, Clara Davis, Virginia Stanaland, and Mackie Cox for the desserts. (I am sorry if I overlooked anyone.)

The Annual Lads to Leaders Awards Sandwich Supper was held on April 27th after the evening worship service. Everyone brought sandwiches, chips and desserts as we honored the youth that participated in this year's Lads to Leaders Competition.
We have a great group of youth that put in lot of work, and we are very proud of them. You can see from the pictures on the left that they won a lot of awards.
We appreciate Doug and Alison Rader for all of their hard work and for their love for the youth group. They are always there for our children, and it does not go unnoticed.

The March Monday Night for the Master was held on March 31st. We had 27 who came to enjoy a meal together before doing odd jobs around the building. The night started off with a big surprise for all that showed up. We had an anonymous person who prepared home cooking for everyone, and it was great! We had smoked brisket, smoked link sausage, smoked chicken, baked beans, potato salad and all the trimmings! Everything was delicious! After an all-you-can-eat buffet of the delicious surprise, everyone split up and took care of the things that needed to be done in and around the building.
We appreciate all of those who came to help. We also appreciate the delicious buffet and the generosity of the person who brought it.

We appreciate everyone who brought food, worked in the kitchen, or helped with the cleanup. It was a nice get-together.

The 2025 Valentine's Luncheon was held on February 11th in the activity building. We had a good turnout, and everyone had a very good time. The church provided smoked ham, and everyone brought a covered dish or a dessert to go with the meal. Bob Stech was the oldest male attending (93), and Jane Grumbles was the oldest female (92). Bob and Mary Stech have been married longest (62 years). After the meal, we played games where contestants won prizes. It was a great day for all of those who were able to attend.

Our young ladies had such a great time putting together our ladies’ brunch and were so appreciative to all who attended! We had quite a few of our girls out with flu and covid and some who were living in a home with a sibling who was sick and they did not want to spread it. Fortunately, we had a few who were still feeling well and we really enjoyed them leading us in song and reading scripture!

The first Monday Night for the Master for 2025 was held on January 27th in the Activity Building. Jeanette Alford prepared an apple cobbler and a delicious salad to go along with the Mazzios's pizzas.
After we enjoyed a meal together, everyone divided up into groups to get all the work done. Several of the people who usually come to help were either ill or were taking care of others who were ill, so we didn't have nearly as many attend as we usually have. But those that were there got a lot accomplished.

The annual Give Me the Bible Conference was held on January 24, 2025 in the activity building of the Crockett Road Church of Christ. There were many who were unable to attend due to illness, but we still had eighty who were able to attend the event this year.
Things started off with a "Meet and Greet" where everyone was able to enjoy donuts, apple brownies, coffee cake, pigs in a blanket, orange juice, apple juice, and coffee. After that, we sang beautiful acapella hymns together and had the introduction of the attending Give Me the Bible preachers.
Before lunch, there was a panelist discussion just as they do on the tv program. Following the discussion, everyone broke for lunch which consisted of barbeque brisket, fried chicken, potato salad, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, fruit salad, bread and a lot of different desserts. Following the meal was another Give Me the Bible panel discussion. Acappella singing was enjoyed throughout the day.
Kris Groda is the administator of the Give Me the Bible Facebook page, and he gave some statistics. Almost every program that was available on facebook for 2024 had 100 or more online views. There were five programs that had over 200 views online. In October, "Is Belief the Only Requirement for Salvation" had over 300 views. The television program is available to millions online, but it is available to even more online through Facebook and Youtube.
We appreciate authors James C. Bivins and John Hobbs for attending. Each of them had a table set up with books available for purchase.
We appreciate all of the ladies who worked so hard decorating for the event. We also appreciate Jill Camp, Keri Rhone, Jeanette Alford, Kathy Young, Donna Costlow, Mackie Cox and Bettie Furman for providing the food and working the kitchen. Their hard work did not go unnoticed. Everything was wonderful! It was a great day to enjoy with fellow Christians.
